**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Cabler (Data and Telecommunications) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication systems and cabling infrastructure. The role involves working both independently and collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of data and telecommunications networks, providing support to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Cabling Installation:

- Install, terminate, and test various types of cabling systems, including Ethernet, fiber optics, and coaxial cables.
- Ensure installations comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

Network Maintenance:

- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to identify and resolve network issues, minimizing downtime.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates to optimize network efficiency.

Repair Services:

- Diagnose and repair telecommunication system malfunctions and cabling faults.
- Provide troubleshooting support to clients experiencing connectivity issues.

Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs for company and client reference.
- Prepare and submit reports detailing completed projects and future recommendations.

Client Interaction:

- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to help clients understand their telecommunication systems.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents encouraged to apply.
- Minimum AQF Certificate III in telecommunications, electrical, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in cabling and telecommunication installations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
