**The Role**

As a leading construction company in Belrose, NSW, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Foreman to join our team. Our Site Foreman, will play a crucial role assisting the Construction Manager in overseeing construction projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety at every stage of the process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take briefings from the construction manager and implement project plans accordingly.
- Arrange site establishment and ensure all logístical needs are met for smooth project execution.
- Prepare and advise variations, details, and costs to the construction manager as necessary.
- Evaluate subcontractor variations and recommend approval or rejection as needed.
- Conduct site safety inductions and enforce safety protocols.
- Brief site construction staff and subcontractors daily on project objectives and expectations.
- Maintain effective relations with suppliers and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Prepare and raise orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Arranging collection of supplies.
- Carry out daily project site checks for quality, progress, occupational health and safety, and environmental impact.
- Investigate problems, take corrective action, and report to the Construction Manager when appropriate.
- Ensure defects list is attended to and signed off, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate regular and final clean-up of the site, ensuring cleanliness and safety. Maintain effective communication with the entire Carty team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Prepare timesheets and cost allocations for submission, monitoring costs and progress.
- Complete and submit pre and post-construction checklists for quality assurance. Assist the Construction Manager in maintaining staff skills and training register. Conduct or arrange training sessions for staff, promoting continuous improvement.
- Carry out staff performance reviews and take action to promote good performance.
- Be willing and able to work on the tools as required
- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in the construction industry. Minimum 5 years experience in a leading hand/ carpenter position.
- Experience in carpentry and finishing trades.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical services.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, safety regulations, construction sequences, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Construction white card.
- Active driver's license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel.
