We are a fruit and vegetable company based in the markets at Rocklea.

We are seeking an experienced second in charge to support the foreman.

As it is fruit and vegetables, we need someone that is flexible with start and finish times. Usually, 11 pm starts and finishes once the job is done. The job may be 5 to 6 days per week.

You must have an MR truck license and a forklift ticket. Or if you are the right person, you can obtain these as soon as possible.

Ideally, you would have worked within the fruit and vegetable industry and managed a team of people before, and you must be reliable.

The person we are looking for needs to be fast-paced and not afraid of hard work, as this is very much a hands-on position. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved, so if you have any back issues, this job would not suit you.

You need to help manage a team of 20 staff, previous experience managing a team is essential. Team building skills are essential.

You will also need to fill in when people are on sick or on holiday to make deliveries. Being able to pass a police check is vital for this role due to our customer base.

You will also need to do some ordering of produce.

The position reports to the foreman and company owner.

You must be in Australia as there is no sponsorship available.

The remuneration will depend on experience.
