Our client is a growing powerhouse in Australian Food Manufacturing with some of Australia’s most loved and innovative brands across Branded, Co-manufacturing and Private Label products.

Our client is passionate about NPD and disrupting the market and are looking for a bright, hungry and ambitious Category Analyst to be part of their exicititing journey.

**The role;**
- Knowledge and experience using either IRI, Nielson or Quantium systems.
- Ability to interpret complex data.
- Educate the business on category, consumer, shopper and market dynamics
- Create and drive category management projects to optimise product ranges across Coles and Woolworths
- Derive actionable insights based on qualitative and quantitative data
- Integrate category management principles into the business
- Translate critical consumer insights and analysing consumer data
- Analyse market performance on different product lines
- Maximising all product sourcing and development opportunities
- Work with partners on future product development opportunities
- Leverage insights from all relevant sources to continuously build and evolve the category understanding and ability to partner with customer base

**Background**:

- National Account Executive or Category Analyst background
- Understanding of customer and category insights and how they inform business strategies and decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communicational skills and, presentation skills.
- Have a proactive approach to analysing data
- Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to read complex information and communicate that effectively to stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and uses facts to support decision making
- Be able to interpret data and make recommendations for short and long term strategies
- Derives actionable insights and the ability to use data to support decision making and recommendations
