**About Us**:
We are a dynamic tutoring center in Chatswood, specializing in providing high-quality educational experiences for primary and high school students. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Debating Teacher to join our team and help shape the next generation of skilled debaters.

As a Debating Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching both primary and high school students the fundamentals of debating, guiding them through practice sessions, and preparing them for competitions. You will need to have a solid understanding of Australian debating rules and formats and bring your competition experience into the classroom to inspire and challenge students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach debating skills to primary and high school students in person at our Chatswood center.
- Develop lesson plans and activities that cater to varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced debaters.
- Prepare students for participation in local and national debating competitions.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their argumentation, public speaking, and critical thinking skills.
- Stay up-to-date with current debating rules and competition formats in Australia.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in debating, preferably with a history of participating in or coaching competitive teams.
- Familiarity with Australian debating rules and competition formats.
- Ability to engage and inspire young students, with a focus on developing their confidence and skills.
- University students with strong debating backgrounds or experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to teach in person at our Chatswood location.
