**The Firm**

Our client is a fantastic law firm who is a key player within Australia. With a broad focus on all aspects of Corporate and Commercial Law, they are the leaders in the industry and have become one of the most sought-after firms to work for, in Australia.

**The Opportunity**:
An opportunity has now arisen for a "career" Paralegal to join the firm’s Corporate Law team. The team provide Corporate Secretariat services to an impressive list of global clients and will see you be exposed to matters such as Corporate Governance and Compliance, Corporate Advisory, Due Diligence & Foreign Investment.

Your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, assisting with the incorporation of companies (ASIC), maintaining and updating corporate registers of companies, transferring shares and assisting with the deregistration of companies.

**About You**:
To be considered for this fantastic new opportunity it is imperative that
**you are a "Career Paralegal" and not a law graduate or student seeking experience. You must hold experience working in a similar position at a recognised private practice law firm or from one of the Big 4 Banks**. You will also have exceptional attention to detail, outstanding communication skills and excellent organisational skills. You will also be a team player with a positive ‘can do' attitude. Knowledge of ASIC and the Corporations Act is a highly regarded prerequisite for this role.
