At Orange sky we are on a mission to Positively Connect Communities and we do this by providing the world's-first free mobile laundry and shower service to people experiencing homelessness. We offer a platform for everyday Australians to connect by creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

**The Role**

T o support our continued growth, we are looking for a Regional Coordinator based ideally based in Brisbane to join the team in this newly created role. You will work remotely as part of the Operations team to ensure services run, grow and volunteer teams are supported, resourced and engaged.

In particular you will be responsible for:

- Managing volunteer leadership teams
- Maintaining the quality and consistency of service, safety, and culture throughout the services in your designated region, which includes incident and risk management
- Management & roll out of new shifts and services
- Monitor volunteer satisfaction and develop programs to ensure a great experience
- Manage volunteer leadership performance through service audits & performance reviews on a regular cadence
- Develop relationships, collegiality and be the point of contact for all volunteer leaders within your designated area

The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role within aa fast-paced environment, ideally within the not for profit sector and working with a large volunteer base.

Additionally, they will have;
- Demonstrated experience running volunteer programs and / or leading teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience in community services or customer services
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a highly diverse range of people and manage a large and diverse workforce
- Well-developed written skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to travel and work flexibly as required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage complex and competing demands and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently, and within a team Proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for our cause.
