We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible person to join the Facilities team. As Venue Support Officer you will be required to provide support for all facility operations including meetings and function support with catering and AV, venue inspections, reporting maintenance requests, physical set up and pack up of furniture and equipment across various facilities.
You will also have a passion to convey a positive and professional image of Council to our hirers and love working with a diverse community. You must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Your role includes operational administration, coordination of functions and community meetings, liaison with community groups, hirers, contractors and staff, as well as support for other team members.
Applicants must adequately meet the requirements of the role and fully address the selection criteria contained in the position description.
You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
