Job Title: Plumbing Trainer for Registered Training Organization (Alpha Technical Training)
**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Trainer to join our RTO (Registered Training Organization) and contribute to our mission of providing high-quality plumbing training to aspiring professionals. As a Plumbing Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs and equipping students with the knowledge and skills required for successful careers in the plumbing industry.
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and deliver training programs for aspiring plumbers, apprentices, and professionals within the plumbing industry.
Design and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions to impart knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, materials, and safety practices.
Provide individualized instruction and support to students, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical examinations.
Identify areas for improvement in the training curriculum and make necessary updates to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and changes in plumbing codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other trainers and staff members to enhance the overall training experience and achieve organizational goals.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes.
**Requirements**:
Extensive experience working as a professional plumber, with a minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience.
Relevant trade qualifications and certifications in plumbing.
Proven experience in delivering training programs, workshops, or educational courses.
Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, materials, and safety practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively teach and engage students.
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to tailor training methods to meet individual student needs.
Up-to-date knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a plumbing trainer or educator.
Familiarity with the structure and requirements of a Registered Training Organization (RTO).
Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
Additional trade qualifications or certifications related to plumbing.
