UGL are seeking interest from Planners to fill a permanent position in Kwinana, WA. As part of our Fuels & Energy portfolio, the PEM&AM team is an established and growing team that aims to become the market leader / provider of choice for niche brownfields Asset Management and Project Delivery in the Terminals space.- This role will work with a team of various disciplines to provide safe, reliable and efficient expertise to the Project Teams.**About the role**
- The Mechanical Planner is responsible to fully understand the COP Modifications Project Management System (MPMS) program and provide Estimating and Development of Permits to ensure all project scopes of work are implemented safely and to a quality standard.- The position reporting to the Site Manager working closely with site Supervision will assist with Planned, Reactive and Breakdown Terminal Maintenance & Project Scope of Works.-
- Day to day planning and coordination of resources, equipment and tooling to conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
- Able to interpret and understand scope of work and associated drawings
- Communicate to key stakeholders while developing detailed isolation plans
- Present completed isolation plans to required stakeholders
- Able to structure isolation plans to suit all permit requirementsWork collaboratively with maintenance and project team ensuring completion of deliverables safely while maintaining technical accuracy, quality, budget and schedule**About you**
- To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:- 5 - 10+ years in a Mechanical trade role
- 5+ years’ experience in Heavy Industry, Oil and Gas preferred, with EEHA qualifications
- Intermediate computing and Microsoft office skills-
- Able to read drawings would be an advantage - P&ID’s, single lines, schematics
- Permit and Isolation certificate development experience
- Sound knowledge of safety, quality, construction or maintenance procedures and requirements
