The Assistant Director of Midwifery (ADOM) - Women’s and Children’s Services (WACS), Hospitals South, provides effective leadership and management to achieve the defined objectives of the clinical services within WACS Clinical Stream. The ADOM WACS provides the Nursing and Midwifery Director WACS with high quality and authoritative advice and support.

ADOM WACS provides a high level of operational leadership and direction, ensuring resources are effectively utilised, services are effectively integrated within the hospital and community, with the highest standards of service delivery achieved in accordance with hospital policy directions, service standards and financial performance targets.

**Details of Appointment**

Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing asap
- notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- _Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies._

**Salary**: $132,215 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- _Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service Agreement) 2019_

**Eligibility**:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and a Registered Midwife
- Current Working with Children Registration
- _Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered._

- Holds a postgraduate tertiary qualification relevant to the position
