**JD Ross Energy are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to be based in Sydney for our Australian based client that has a huge portfolio across a multitude of different sectors. If you are looking for a new challenge and want to be a part of one of the industry’s top EPC companies, today.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Provide technical problem solving and support to the project.**:

- **Overseeing the work of lead engineers, secondary designers to ensure project performance whilst being the technical interface between the PM's and Engineering department.**:

- **Develop & maintain strong relationships wiht internal and external design resources, project management, construction, commissioning, and other stakeholders reliant on the design and engineering.**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Minimum 10 years industry experience in electricity industry Design Management**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering.**:

- **Professional Engineer status CPEng/NER and RPEQ preferred**:

- **Seeks and builds constructive and influential business relationships across our client and other internal and external business partners.**:

- **Exceptional team management and communication skills, ensuring quality of Design Management outcomes across assigned projects**:

- **Exceptional team management and communication skills to ensure internal design resources are producing and checking discipline specific documents and drawings in alignment with project requirements**:

- **Responsible for seamless design integration between multiple disciplines, including geographically diverse design resources.**:

- **Previous experience/relationships within EPC's, Australian Power Transmission and Distribution Utilities is preferred.**
