Our client has been developing and producing wood products for well over a century. They strive to make valued and sustainable contributions to the local communities in which they operate.

You will be working with an experienced team as a Fitter & Turner to maintain plant and equipment - saw machines, conveyors and chippers. With multiple machines you will be kept busy keeping things running smoothly

They are offering afternoon shift hours Monday-Friday with ongoing work available.

You will start on site working with another Fitter initially to bring you up to speed. After you have settled in you will be running your own show.

**Duties are but not limited to**:

- Maintaining plant machinery
- Assisting with breakdowns
- Machining (if you have that skill)

**Your skills and experience could include**:

- Previous experience in industrial maintenance
- Reliable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Committed to adhering to WHS policies and procedures

**Salary**: $34.96 - $39.76 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nowra NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
