**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Modifying existing products and processes and developing new ones.
- Researching current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts.
- Selecting raw materials and other ingredients from suppliers.
- Preparing product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitable products.
- Coordinating launches of new products or running trials alongside or together with product development.
- Supervise production trials / commercial batches.
- Raising deviations and change controls regarding formulation or processing change.
- Dealing with any customer complaint investigations or product issues.
- Compiling, checking and approving product specifications and labelling.
- Undertaking long-term projects with other departments, e.g., reducing waste by improving efficiency.
- Working on packaging innovation and technology.
- Liaising with Procurement, sales, Technical services, QAQC and Production team.
- Working with Engineering and Production to develop solutions to production issues

**To be successful, you need**:

- A Bachelor's degree in food/Pharmaceutical science or, a degree in a related field like nutrition, chemistry, biology, or agricultural science.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge in FSANZ and TGA
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed analysis, numerical and critical thinking approach to all tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
