Electrical Tester

**About the client**:
Our client is one of the global leaders in Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering Solutions supporting various sectors across industry.

**About the role**:
An opportunity has become available for a Licenced Electrician who has experience control panel wiring combined with the ability to undertake testing to join their team.

In order to understand their product and standards, a strong training plan is in place to induct but the role is a dual role where you will be on the Factory floor wiring switchboards before moving to the testing area as needed.

Our client offers training as a combination of hands-on as well as online training. with some training possibly overseas if required as part of the professional development program.

- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules

**What experience/skill do you need**:

- Trades qualified Electrical Fitter or Current NSW 'A' Grade electrical license accreditation
- Experience in building and wiring main switchboards, distribution boards, control panels and working with copper busbar
- Experience in AC DC Motors, Inverters and VSD's
- Experienced in reading schematic diagrams
- Takes pride in completing work to a high quality and standard attention to detail
- Be reliable & have a sound work ethic
- Computer literacy
- PLC/HMI conversant - Allen Bradley
- Perform electrical functionality testing on electrical panels per documentation
- Electrical troubleshooting aptitude
- Perform programming of control boards and VFD drives/loading of PLC programs
- Inspection of electrical control panels per schematic/BOM
- Complete QC documentation

**Salary**: $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
