SmartWatch is the City of Rockingham’s vehicle security patrol service. The position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual, who has the ability to build, foster, and network relationships with law enforcement agencies, whilst having a strong passion for customer service. The roster for this role will operate across afternoons and evenings, across week days, weekends as well as public holidays, and you need to be available to work any shifts allocated to you.

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring a high visibility vehicle patrol presence to reduce risk and ensure safety to the Rockingham community. Officers are required to report on suspicious behaviour and advise relevant authorities accordingly.

This role involves being unsupervised for a large majority of your shift, and requires Officers to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail at all times. The ability to remain focussed when working independently and vigilant throughout the entirety of your shift is imperative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage constructively with community members and provide community safety information
- Effective written communication skills, including the ability to produce accurate, concise and clear reports
- Sound judgment and decision making skills
- Experience in security related work
- Security Officers licence issued under the _Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996 (WA)_
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office software)

We are offering a gross salary of **$68,168** per annum and:

- 11% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute up to 5%
