Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with over 1,700 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are seeking to appoint an **ICT Support Trainee** to join the ICT team in January 2023. This is an exciting opportunity for a Year 12 graduate to have a gateway into this field while undertaking a Cert IV in Information Technology.

The successful delivery of information technology at Chairo is of high priority and the ICT Support Trainee will be expected to provide excellent customer service while learning on the job.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring and logging issues in the ICT Help Desk system
- Computer hardware support and deployment (e.g. laptops, desktops, iPads)
- Software support and deployment
- Educational hardware support, including interactive whiteboards
- User account maintenance, creation and termination
- Basic networking support of end-user devices
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring, friendly and helpful manner
- Willingness to work out of regular hours on an occasional basis.
