**General Labourers Wanted - BENDIGO**

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to exciting projects? We’re seeking dedicated **General Labourers** to join our hard-working crew. As a General Labourer, you’ll play a vital role in various worksites, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards.

**MUST HAVE A WHITECARD**

**Responsibilities**:
**Site Clean-up and Organization**:

- Keep the worksite clean and organised by collecting and disposing of rubbish, debris, and waste materials.
- Arrange tools, equipment, and materials for easy access and efficient workflow.

**Material Handling**:

- Assist in transporting construction materials, including cement bags, lumber, and steel beams.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper distribution of weight.

**Assisting Skilled Workers**:

- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople.
- Hold materials in place during installations or repairs.
- Pass tools and supplies to skilled workers as required.

**Power Tools and Equipment**:

- Gain hands-on experience with power tools such as saws, drills, and pneumatic nailers.
- Follow safety protocols when operating machinery.

**Construction Support**:

- Dig trenches, lay foundations, and assist in concrete pouring.
- Help assemble and dismantle temporary structures (e.g., tents, fences).

**Safety Awareness**:

- Prioritise safety at all times.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.

**Qualifications**:
**Physical Stamina**:

- General labour can be physically demanding. Be prepared for extended periods of standing, lifting, and bending.
- The ability to lift heavy loads (e.g., bags of cement, lumber) is essential.

**Safety Commitment**:

- Follow safety guidelines and instructions diligently.
- Participate in safety training sessions.

**No Formal Education Required**:

- While there are no specific educational prerequisites, a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
- Apprenticeships or on-the-job training are common pathways for skill development.
