**About the role**

The drug allergy and serious cutaneous adverse drug reaction (DASCAR) fellow will be a full-time medical officer who will undertake penicillin allergy evaluations in a clinical consulting role incorporating evaluation and in-hospital penicillin challenges, as well as a rapid access penicillin allergy delabelling outpatient clinic. The fellow will also be involved in regular drug-allergy focused immunology clinical activities, including ward consults, immunodermatology clinics with a focus on serious cutaneous adverse reactions, maintaining a severe drug allergy register, and ensuring effective recording and communication of drug allergy information.

Contributes to the provision of a Clinical Immunology and Allergy Service within the objectives and philosophies of Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), with a commitment to inpatient, ambulatory care, research, education and teaching

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
