**Selection Criteria**:

**Role**:
- Create a positive climate for learning and development where the highest levels of respect and inclusion exists for Koorie students at Mooroolbark College. Ensure an ILP is developed for each Koorie student.
- Run regular support group meetings with parents, students and appropriate school staff.
- Provide academic support to support Koorie students engage fully throughout their schooling years and gain the knowledge and skills to excel at Year 12 or its equivalent.
- Raise the profile of Koorie culture at Mooroolbark College.
- Arrange for Koorie specific events in the College.
- Work with Regional Koorie Engagement Support Officers at NEVR in the support of Koorie students.
- Develop links with the local Koorie community.
- Work with the College’s Pathways team to facilitate a successful transition to further education and employment.
- This position reports directly to the Assistant Principal responsible for Koori Inclusion.
**Responsibilities**:
- Carry out allocated activities and tasks determined by the school consistent with role description.
- Participate in planning and preparation with teachers on a regular basis.
- Participate in professional learning activities provided through this initiative.
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of this initiative.
