For this role, we’re seeking an ambitious and goal driven individual with strong understanding of the MuleSoft integration platform, preferably with experience of both Mule 3 on-premises as well as Mule 4 cloud-based implementations. You will assist to establish strong partnerships with stakeholders and colleagues on a major Swinburne project initiative which aims to implement significant improvements to Swinburne’s integration capabilities and act as an Integration Tech Lead conduit between the project/vendor partner and the Swinburne IT Integration Development team.

The role will report to the Application & Integration Development Manager but may also on occasion report directly to the PM assigned to the project. You will be responsible for working with appropriate teams to help migrate Swinburne’s on-premises integration footprint to a full iPaaS platform. You will provide a high standard of customer service and working with project and Swinburne IT stakeholders to ensure recognition of, and responsiveness to, the needs of the project in terms of integration deliverables. Although our vendor partner will be driving the bulk of the project you will be responsible for technically leading and guiding the SUT Integration Development team to ensure best practices are utilised across the integration footprint of the project regarding integration service and process design and ensure the team/vendor partner follows appropriate integration development standards and processes. Strong Java and Mulesoft backgrounds are essential.

Although predominantly a technical role the Integration Program Lead will also be expected to carry the responsibility for some light management duties such as acting as the main communication point between the project team and Swinburne IT and assisting with guiding other SUT Integration Developers on the project with the work priority/breakdown, design guidance and ensure appropriate processes are followed by the Integration Developers on the project team.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Relevant experience working on complex projects building Java based apps (including Spring, Hibernate) software solutions and technical integration solutions using MuleSoft (both 3 and 4) working from requirements, solution architecture, third party and internal API documentation through the entire SDLC.
- A sound knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate and establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders and staff at all levels effectively and coherently.
