disAbility Living Inc. (DLi) was established in 1984 to provide long term accommodation and support for young adults. We have provided supported accommodation for people with disabilities in South Australia for more than 25 years. In 2010, the organisation began providing respite and transitional accommodation support and in 2013, began providing support to children.

**Your Experience**
You will bring a person-centred approach, placing the person at the centre of their service. You will work collaboratively, tailoring your approach to the needs of the individual. You will quickly establish rapport with clients and their families and have clear and effective communication skills. You will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in case notes and record-keeping. You will be comfortable supporting adult clients with intellectual/physical disabilities, high medical needs, mental health diagnosed or high behavioural concerns.
**Special requirements**
Your shift with our client invloves mentoring and prompting in their own home to assist with mainting general hygine and cleanliness. Client requires mentoring to develop their cooking skills.
**Your Availability**
Current shifts available for our client are as follows:
- Fortnightly - Friday 9:30am - 12:30pm

**Recruitment Process**
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a phone interview and then, if successful, to a face to face interview.
**Role Requirements**
- A minimum Certificate III in Disability or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Medication Administration Certificate, Basic Continence Care and Infection Control Certificate will be highly preferred and if not, willingness to obtain these will be required.
- A full Australian Driver’s Licence
- Ability and willingness to drive and use pool vehicle or own vehicle
