**The Role**:
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be required to perform fibre splicing activities and cable identification tasks safely and professionally, in accordance with contracted technical specifications, standards, and specific client/s written instructions, on time, and to budget.

In this role, you will:

- Perform testing as required.
- Coordinate the site team of line workers, monitor and ensure the planned work is completed as required and on time.
- Assist the Project Manager with infrastructure plans and documents.
- Understand and work from telecommunication construction plans.
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Optical Fibre and other types of telecommunication networks.
- Undertake Fibre splicing and cutover.
- Minor jointing and copper cable identification.

**You**:
We are looking for someone who is fit, reliable, and motivated to work, has a solid track record in similar roles, and can start work immediately.

You will also require:

- Based in Queensland, with current eligibility to work in Australia.
- Experience and qualifications in line work, fibre optic splicing.
- Copper cable jointing experience is desirable, however, training is available.
- Experience working in and on telecommunication networks, construction, or project environments.
- Experience in planning and effectively and efficiently executing technical assignments.
- Construction White Card
- Complete a Pre-Employment medical assessment
