**Street Cleaners Wanted**

**Position**: Street Cleaner

**Location**: All across Hobart

**Employment Type**: Casual, Monday to Friday

**Shift**: 6AM to 3PM

**Duration**:2 to 3 months

As a street cleaner, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our city streets clean. Your duties will include:

- Litter Picking: Walking designated routes and collecting litter from sidewalks, parks, and public areas.
- Graffiti removal: Use pressure cleaner and other tools to remove the graffiti, painting
- Broom and Scoop: Using brooms and scoops to sweep leaves, debris and dirt from footpaths and roadways.
- Operating Blowers: Using blowers to clear leaves, dust, and other debris from sidewalks and kerbs.
- Occasional Driving: Occasionally driving a council vehicle to transport equipment or move bins.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

- Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or street cleaner will be highly regarded
- Licence: Full driver's licence as a minimum, MR preferred
- Physical Fitness: Street cleaning can be physically demanding, so you should be fit and able to walk long distances.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting litter and maintaining cleanliness.
- Team Player: You'll work as a team of 2 or 3, so teamwork is essential.
- Willingness to Learn: On-the-job training will be provided, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial.
