Stem Instructor

Little Alphas is robotics after-school provider on Gold Coast We run programs that teach robotics with Lego Education Wedo 2.0, Spike Essential and Prime.We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to help deliver our lesson plans 10 weeks from 3pm to 4pm at registered schools on Gold Coast. You can pick any day/days to commit for Term.

Schools/Days:
Tuesdays - Musgrave Hill SS

Wednesdays - Arundel SS

Fridays - Benowa SS or Miami SS

Are you:
Experienced or interested in working with kids (ages 5-12)?

Trustworthy, independent, punctual and reliable?

Someone who feels confident speaking in front of a group and is enthusiastic and adaptable?

Able to work between 3pm - 4pm

About the position:
Paid training provided as well as support from a qualified teacher on the ground.

Required Skills/Certifications:
Whilst we don’t require a specific degree or experience, you should have some of the following experience (or similar):
Experience working with young kids preferred

Mature outlook, common sense and ability to identify and take action to manage risk and ensure active supervision of children inside and outside the classroom

Fluent conversational English

Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain immediately
