School Traffic Marshal

Casual positions, 7am to 9am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm, during school terms

- Support student safety at the Keilor East campus

**The School**

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School has over 2900 students from K-12 at campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East. **The Role**

School Traffic Marshals are expected to work during school terms only, Mondays to Fridays and during typical school drop off and pick up times being 7am to 9am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

This role would suit individuals who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with students, parents and staff.

You must have:

- Experience working in a similar role
- A high level of awareness of traffic safety and traffic control certificate/qualifications preferred
- A friendly and courteous manner, with a focus on customer service
- A mature and responsible outlook
- Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with students, parents and staff in a professional manner
- Ability to instruct and direct pedestrians and drivers to uphold safe practices and support traffic flow
- Ability to speak and read English and understand road signs
- Physical ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shifts
- A valid Working With Children Check (employee) and current satisfactory criminal record check
