Bicycle Courier Job Description Sample We are looking for a reliable and punctual bicycle courier to safely deliver our meals to the designated locations in accordance with the delivery instructions provided by our dispatch staff. It is the bike courier's responsibility to prioritize important deliveries, notify dispatch personnel of any conditions that may delay or affect delivery, and answer any questions recipients may have regarding delivery. To be a successful bike messenger, you must be physically fit and able to handle the unexpected. Ultimately, an outstanding bike courier must know the rules of road safety, as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving and time management skills. Bike Courier Responsibilities: Checking addresses and locations before each delivery to make sure there are no errors Secure packages to prevent damage during transit. Collect payments as needed and ensure you receive the correct amounts. Regular communication with dispatch personnel to provide delivery updates and receive instructions for new deliveries. Requirements for a bike rider: Proven experience as a bike rider. Confident knowledge of the rules of the road. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to use GPS devices. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills. Good physical endurance. Reliable and punctual.

**Salary**: $21.26 - $38.29 per hour
