Help Desk Officer Level 1

Temp contract until June 2024 + possible extension
- Beaudesert, Queensland 4285 (ONSITE WORK)
- 36.25 Hours/week. Roster includes some 7.00 am starts.
- $45 per hour + super

**Responsibilities**:
- Log, escalate, update, and resolve Incidents and Service Requests in accordance with IT processes.
- Manage the deployment and upgrades of Council computer, mobile and peripheral assets.
- Log, update, and maintain IT records on Council hardware and software assets.
- Maintain ICT systems and access permissions in line with security procedures to avoid breaches to the network.
- Provide communication to Council staff in the logging of, communication, and resolution of unplanned major and high severity incidents.
- Provide communication to Council staff in the planned upgrades to Council systems and network infrastructure.
**Essential requirements**:
- Level 1 tickets logged will be resolved within agreed timeframes.
- Calls will be reviewed and measured against approved quality framework.
- Support phone call duration (average) do not exceed defined KPI targets.
- Virtual IT Support as well as Face to Face
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Works well within a team
- Highly professional communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner written and verbal communication skills, used to dealing with senior internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office, Office 365, TechnologyOne and ERP.
**What we are looking for**:
- Less than 1 week notice
- Excellent technical support and troubleshooting skills
- Government experience preferred but not essential
