**Job Description**:
The Product Designer joins the streaming product design team at a really exciting time, transforming Nine’s radio assets for the needs of listeners and a diverse, digital environment.

Delivering best in class live talk radio stations, digital streaming on your own device, or listening to one of our specialist entertainment and investigative podcasts. Our audio platforms foster an interactive relationship with our audiences - acting as a direct line into the moods, opinions and thoughts of diverse Australian communities.

This role will strengthen a critical part of the streaming portfolio and sits beside a strong team of 9Now Designers for Apps, Web & Connected TV.

As a digital Product Designer you will join a small and agile team of problem solvers, helping to concept design and build the best-in-class audio streaming experiences in Australia.

You will work closely with fellow designers, product managers, technical teams and researchers to help define, document and deliver intuitive, compelling and meaningful interactive experiences across native apps, web, digital devices including smart speakers, wearables, and the in-car experience.

You will report to the Head of Design, Streaming and will contribute to a number of different work streams aligned to your skill set and be given the opportunity to advance your design abilities across a range of disciplines.

It’s an incredible time to join the team as we prepare to deliver a world class streaming experience for the next 10 years of the Olympics, starting with the Olympic & Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.

**Responsibilities**
- Solve a variety of UI design challenges across different platforms including web, apps, wearables, Apple Carplay & Android Auto
- Collaborate with product managers, technical teams and researchers to help drive the best end user experience
- Generate ideas and early concepts to explore product opportunities and solve problems
- Produce a range of design artefacts including sketches, diagrams, wireframes, UI animations and prototypes
- Craft high-fidelity UI designs and work closely with engineers to deliver the final product
- Communicate effectively and articulate your thinking to other team members
- Seek input from team members to drive better design outcomes
- Participate in and contribute to internal workshops, design reviews and collaboration sessions
- Contribute to team culture and knowledge sharing.

- What we would like to see:_
- Hands-on experience working as a digital designer and delivering UI designs
- Industry standard UI design tools and knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools
- Understanding of design patterns across multiple platforms
- Familiarity with media and streaming industry with experience designing audio interfaces
- Working in an agile product development environment is desirable
- Experience in animation software to demonstrate product flow, transitions and micro-animations.
