**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Seniors and Disability team provides a range of support services to the community including information, advocacy, carer support, nutrition services, transport and activities, events and social groups to maintain overall wellbeing and independence for seniors and people with a disability in the community.

The Social Inclusion Driver is responsible for providing safe and reliable transport for seniors, people with a disability and members of the community. The Social Inclusion Driver ensures that vehicles driven are clean and safe for passengers and that any issues are communicated with their supervisor.

The successful applicant will require:

- Class LR drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Bus Driver Authority, public passenger bus
- Ability to relate to frail aged, people with a disability and their carers
- Experience operating a wheelchair accessible vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, be flexible and have good organisational skills
- Experience working with volunteers

**Position information**: This is a casual position with shifts predominately rostered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday between 8:00am to 10:30am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and Thursday between 8:00am to 4.30pm.

This role will be required to work across multiple locations within the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) with the main starting point for the bus service located at the Guildford Community Centre.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 4 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with an hourly rate range of $28.13 to $32.35, plus casual loading and 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
