**About the Role**

Support 3 people in their 50’s with disability living in Supported Independent Living in **Carlton.**

The people you will be supporting have all known each other since high school and are looking for **casual** disability support workers who are enthusiastic about providing active support and have previous experience in behaviour support and mealtime management to join their support team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide active person-centred support
- Follow behaviour support plans
- Follow meal time management plans
- Promote client goals through enjoyable activities
- Provide personal care
- Ensure safe manual handling and hoisting

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience with modified diets and meal time management
- Experience with behaviours of concern and following behaviour support plans
- Strong understanding of and ability to demonstrate active support
- Personal Care experience
- Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- First Aid and CPR certificates
