**Help shape the future of children in our care**

As our highly valued part-time Director Teacher at Rochedale Kindergarten you’ll lead an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive. You will work 37.5 hours per fortnight - Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays.

Situated within the grounds of Rochedale State School our Community Kindergarten tailor each day’s learning, taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the natural environment outdoors.

You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by taking full ownership of the centre’s operation, documentation and program delivery while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.

**What you’ll bring**

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification)
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these).

Your strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework will be crucial to your success.
