Our Business Banking division serves over 10,000 clients in the medium to large business segment across Australia, with complex financial needs and turnover between $30m-$150m. We are committed to understanding our clients, and delivering insights and creative solutions, to drive sustainable business growth. Our clients include business from across the manufacturing, wholesale, logistics/transport, retail, childcare, property, professional and construction services industry.

**Your impact**

You will be a key member of the Relationship Management team, undertaking in depth analysis and assessment of the risks or opportunities associated with lending to new customers, as well as the risks or opportunities associated with increases in credit facilities to existing clientele. Additionally, you will attend customer meetings/events with Relationship Executives and Senior Executives, providing crucial Relationship support to our goal of being the #1 Business Bank.

As our Analyst you will be passionate about customer service and focused on achieving our goal of being number 1 in client satisfaction. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to sophisticated Corporate Banking clients/deals in a strong and successful business. You are well versed in financial modelling and analysis relating to our business and commercial banking clients and prepare credit submissions for new facilities and coordinate deal execution through documentation funding. You will manage the portfolios data quality, compliance and reporting requirements such as pipeline leads, calls, contacts and revenues and undertake performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients, as well as report on client financial and operational performance to Risk Management. In addition you will build and maintain effective working relationships with the Client Service Centre, Risk Management, Global Markets, Banking Products, Asset Finance Specialists and Specialist Distribution as well as structure and clearly articulate the credit merits of a transaction, including identifying and mitigating key risks.

**What are we looking for?**

It's not a secret that we are a high performing team so we are looking for the same attributes in you. Your previous experience in business or commercial banking would be ideal however if you are currently working in a tier 1 or 2 accounting firm this could be the beginning of a long and fulfilling career with Australia's leading bank. Your previous experience in writing and analysing credit transactions, annual reviews and reporting will be helpful as will your understanding of balance sheets, profit & loss, loan and security structuring.
