Horse Trainer

Full time horse trainer required for expanding small stable in Brisbane.

**Duties include**:
Daily stable management including feeding, watering, cleaning stables, general horse care, assisting with vets and farriers, first aid as required, etc.

Assisting to create training programmes, teaching horses daily routines, addressing behavior issues and monitoring mental well being

Exercising horses daily (riding and swimming) and providing feedback reports

Transporting horses to trackwork

Attending track work, jump outs, trials and races

**Skill/experience requirements**:
A minimum of 3 years full time experience in a similar role

Knowledge and experience of racehorse training including experience with yearlings

Open drivers licence

Experience driving with a float

QLD Trackwork licence

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Every weekend
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- racing: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Stablehand/Trackwork licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
