New Graduate Dietitian

**About the Role**: As the New Graduate Dietitian, you will deliver Nutrition & Dietetics services within inpatient and outpatient caseloads assigned at either Logan Hospital or Princess Alexandra Hospital. This includes:
- Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within an interprofessional context.
- Clinical education, supervision of observational students and allied health assistants, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.
- Participation and contribution to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
The Princess Alexandra Hospital offers one full time clinical training position for a new graduate dietitian, commencing February 2025. The position is rotational in nature with the opportunity to work within a variety of clinical speciality areas. The Princess Alexandra Hospital provides a diverse range of services including acute medical, surgical, mental health, cancer, rehabilitation and more. The Princess Alexandra Hospital is also nationally recognised for trauma expertise and is a major liver and kidney transplantation site.
Logan Hospital offers one full time clinical training position for a new graduate dietitian, commencing January 2025. The position is rotational in nature with the opportunity to work within a variety of clinical specialty areas. Logan Hospital provides a diverse range of services including medical, surgical, paediatrics, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and more. Nutrition & Dietetics provides an innovative service to these areas, with many of the specialist outpatient clinics run conjointly with doctors and specialist nurses. The department also provides a post-acute and home enteral nutrition (HENS) service.
