About the Role
The Sport Competition Cluster Manager will lead and co-ordinate the oversight planning and delivery of a cluster of Games sports. This will include working in collaboration with other Functional Area cluster teams including Overlay, Technology, Logistics, Venue Management, Transport and Security functions to ensure the dissemination and integration of sport specific competition requirements into the integrated planning process for each sport within their designated cluster.
The Sport Competition Cluster Manager will also fulfil the responsibilities of a Competition Manager for one identified Games sport throughout the planning process and through delivery at Games time.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
At least 5 years' experience working in a technical sport role and is passionate about creating, supporting, and delivering a world class environment for athletes to compete.
Experience within a major event or multi-sport environment will be highly regarded, along with;
- Knowledge of sport competition requirements and relevant International Federation requirements for Games Sports
- Relationship management; experience dealing with National and/or International Sport Federations
- Project management experience within the Sport industry, displaying the highest level of integrity and commitment with the ability to deliver excellent results.
- Proven experience in recruitment, mentoring, training, and people management whilst leading a team.
- The ability to multi-task and undertake additional projects whilst ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met.
