**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a **Paediatric Medical Education Registrar** where you will be responsible for:

- Ensure that medical and mental health simulations are delivered to a high standard.
- Adopt a therapeutic approach and adjust simulation activities and goals to meet capacities and learning needs of individual students.
- Collaborate with faculty staff in planning a simulation covering an area of paediatric social and emotional health.
- Identify specific learning objectives for the new simulation, write extensive character backstory and work with the unit artistic director to recruit and train actors.

**About You**

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery - or equivalent.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Advanced trainee status with the Royal Australian College of Physicians
- Clinical experience and competence in the practice of paediatric medicine.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and medical students.
- Willingness to incorporate suggestions/feedback/complaints into personal improvement.
