The children's centre at The Body Shop is a 115 place centre caring for children from 0 - 5 years. The centre provides an Early Childhood Environment of excellence incorporating a Funded Three & Four year old Kindergarten program. Our friendly team has a professional approach and operates a dynamic, nurturing play based program. Kinder Teachers will be rewarded for their commitment with above Award salary and conditions that include; 10 weeks school holidays, leave loading, learning and development support, company discounts and staff recognition.

Successful applicants should display the following qualities;
- An approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification (Bachelor of Teaching / Education or ACECQA assessed qualification)
- Current VIT
- Minimum 2 years experience working in Early Childhood
- Experience in undertaking School Transition statements and relevant school readiness programs
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Proficient computer skills
- First aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Child Protection Certificate
- Deep understanding of VEYLDF and EYLF
- Excellent communication, team work and leadership skills

Responsibilities included in the role;
- Flexibility in working in collaboration with a team of educators, specially a team of Early childhood teachers
- Build and maintain relationships and networks within the community, local Kinders, local schools and early intervention services
- A mature minded, friendly and warm approach that display true empathy for children and their development
- experienced Teacher that is dedicated, confident and has the ability to effectively deliver early learning programs and evaluate their success
- Highly developed organization, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills alongside a team and collaborating ideas

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
