**Role**:
House Support Officers (HSO's) play an important role in the daily running of the House. They provide administration support to the House Leadership Team and act as a first contact point for parents of students within the house.

This role is 0.822 (31.25 hours per week) over 5 days. (8:20am to 3:05pm)
- House Support Officer responsibilities are:_
- Coordinate the delivery and administrative services within one of the four houses
- Maintain consistent and professional communication services for parents
- Monitor student attendance, including recording of late arrivals/early departures, by following the MEC Absence Concern Process
- Assist with the MEC Mobile Phone process
- Complete enrolment / exit processes
- Deliver basic first aid
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective administrational processes
- Maintain school record systems
- Coordinate the management of resources for the house
- Coordinate requirements for students from the house to attend events / activities
- Liaise with school staff in regard to support requirements
- Assist the coordination of whole school events (i.e. Valedictory, Awards Night)

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the delivery of administrative services within the school.
- In consultation with the principal, determine and manage work priorities within the school office.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective administration procedures.
- Maintain school's records system, including computerised student, staff and school records.
- Coordinate the implementation of requisitioning, purchasing and issuing procedures.
- Manage client reception.
- Liaise with school staff in regard to support requirements
