About the Role:
Eva Burrows is the national education and learning centre of The Salvation Army and the Librarian will play a pivotal role in providing quality services to all library patrons, attending to daily library operations and assisting with strategic collection development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patrons with their information enquiries
- Provide guidance to patrons in researching, accessing and using library resources including the University of Divinity Library Hub
- Opening and closing of the library
- Cataloguing and processing
- New acquisitions
- Overdue follow up
- Assist with stocktake when required
- Shelving
- Management of reserve collection

About you:

- Undergraduate degree in Library or Information Services or completion of a professional qualification in librarianship
- Professional membership of ALIA
- Proven experience as a Librarian/Library Technician (preferably in an Higher Educational institution)
- An understanding of the context of a Post Secondary Education College and Library
