**THE ROLE**:
Austrade’s TradeStart network delivers Austrade services through local public sector and industry organisations throughout Australia. For this role our partner is the on the Gold Coast, our partner is the City of Gold Coast (CoGC)

The TradeStart Adviser will be employed by CoGC as a TradeStart Adviser delivering their services, as well as working very closely with Austrade’s teams in Australia and overseas to deliver Austrade services. They will be responsible for the provision of practical exporting advice and assistance to export ready Australian businesses.

The successful applicant will have strong background in the practical aspects of international trade and highly developed skills in key account and relationship management. They will have an understanding the factors and decisions that are relevant to business at various stages of growth and internationalisation, will be comfortable working in virtual teams and have demonstrated high-level communication and representation skills.
