- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients in Nursing homes, private residences, and onsite commercial collections
- Perform collections on vulnerable patients - Difficult Collections, Hand Bleeds and Paediatric
- Provide advice on special requirements, preparation, and instructions for tests
- Perform Daily Vehicle Checks and report any issues
- Stock maintenance
- Compliance and adherence with QML Pathology policies and procedures, and Workplace Health and Safety procedures

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- An outstanding patient / customer focus, including the ability to liaise with internal & external customers.- Must have experience in difficult collections, hand bleeds & Paediatric Collections
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Nursing would be advantageous
