We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and motivated professional, with excellent technical skills, to support Music concerts, recitals and external performances at WAAPA.
The Role
This role will cover the long service leave of the incumbent for a four month period.
This role reports to the Venues and Technical Services Manager and works closely with Music Coordinators and the Marketing team. The Senior Concerts Officers will leverage their technical expertise, general knowledge, and practical experience to ensure the seamless delivery of music concerts and to support students in their artistic journeys. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality music concert production expertise all while embodying the spirit of collaboration and excellence.
Key Criteria
To be successful you will be proactive and resilient and will have experience in a similar or related role. You will be able to demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
Experience in supporting live music performances and productions.
Ability to work autonomously, take direction and motivate self and team members in a busy environment when managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and network effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain administrative systems and procedures.
The ability to use initiative and think analytically and laterally when sourcing information and problem solving.
Hold a valid driver’s licence;
Ability and willingness to work out of hours and undertake travel as required;
Ability to undertake tasks which require extensive physical movement (eg. Packing/unpacking materials);
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.
**Remuneration**:
This fixed term position attracts remuneration of $81,614 to $90,691 pa (pro-rata if part time) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
