**About the role**

Seeking an **Electrical** **Maintenance Fitter** for our factory in Altona, Melbourne to work alongside the Maintenance Engineer. Tired of working in a large, toxic negative environment? You will enjoy a stable permanent full-time role with a friendly and supportive boss, paid overtime with fuel and phone allowances.

**Key Responsibilities for the role**
- Manufacture, fit, assemble, operate, troubleshoot and provide electrical maintenance to all equipment.
- Install and repair any electrical and cabling equipment required.
- Inspect and test all electrical systems.
- Locate and diagnose malfunctions.
- Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
- Provide an estimate of repair costs if beyond capability to perform.

The role is an **8hr day work week** with overtime as required and some weekend work on a fair roster.

**Skills & experience**:

- Experience with Pneumatic, mechanics, basic repairs and fabrication.
- Ability to use software to write detailed report.
- Trade certificate and A Grade electrical license.
- The ability to set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment.
- Ability to operate or learn quickly how to effectively use maintenance software.
