**Telecommunications Technical Officer/Rigger**

**Salary**:This is dependent on experience and skill set. Starting from $55,000 per year.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for ensuring the 4G and 5G wireless system is built as per FC drawing.
- Ensure 4G and 5G technologies are operational as per design;
- Project Management;
- Ensuring work safety practices are implemented and adhered to in work areas;
**Main Tasks**
- Installing/Maintaining/recovery of WCDMA/LTE Networks;
- Installation/Recovery of Panel Antennas, Head Frames, Hybrilflex Cables, Feeder Cables, Earthing, Cable Trays, Remote Radio Units;
- Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair faulty wireless systems;
- Commissioning and integration of wireless technologies;
- Hauling, terminating and testing of all sorts of cables required for the wireless telecommunications system (Coaxial, DC, Ethernet, Optical fibre);
- Working at heights co-operating with install of antennas, dishes, feeder cables on rooftops and towers;
- Proficient in PIM, VSWR and Sweep Testing; and
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities - including SWMS, MOP's, JSA's.

**Qualifications**
- Current Rigging/Dogging/EWP Tickets or willingness to acquire
- Twin Rope Access certification highly desired;
- Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket or willingness to acquire
- Construction White Card or willingness to acquire;
**Skills and Experience**
- 3 years Structural Rigging experience within the Telecommunication / Radiocommunication industry;
- Experience working on green field guyed mast, tower and monopole construction projects;
- Telstra, Vodafone, Optus 4G/5G experience will be highly regarded;
**Other**
- Police Clearance
- Full Drivers licence
