**Casual position (8hr per week). Opportunity to progress to permanent.**

**Role of a Key Worker**
- Provide assessment and intervention for children using the Key Worker model and a family-centred approach
- Provide consultation and oversight of programs, to clients, the MYPAL HOME CARE PTY LTDteam and any other relevant professionals
- Work collaboratively with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, clients, families, schools, preschools, and any other necessary professionals to provide holistic therapy programs
- Empower children and their families to assist them to meet their NDIS goals

**Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and/or Primary)
- A combined or double degree, for example, a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and/or Primary)
- An undergraduate degree and an accredited graduate entry teaching degree, for example, a Master of Teaching (Primary)
- Additional studies in disability, special education, or allied health are desirable
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes and utilise evidence-based practice
- Professional, warm and empathetic approach to clients
- Willingness to learn, grow, and provide excellent services to children within a team environment

**Other Requirements**
- Registration with your Teaching Body
- Current NSW and VIC Working With Children Check
- Valid National Police Check
- NDIS Mandatory Worker Certificate
- Current Drivers License and reliable car
- Current First Aid Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
