This is a rare opportunity for a teacher to join our specialised school where each student from birth to end of schooling, has been diagnosed with a vision impairment and additional disabilities.
Our dedicated staff at Narbethong Special School possess expertise and enthusiasm for the Australian Curriculum, Expanded Core Curriculum for visually impaired, Active Learning Pedagogy and working with students diagnosed as Deaf/Blind plus.
We have a robust support system in place, ensuring continuous opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement especially for new staff. Coaching capability has ensured we are always making improvements in school priorities and student learning.
The most recent parent/carer School Opinion results indicated 100% satisfied across all areas. Furthermore, staff morale has risen by a further 12.2% to an impressive 94%, which is higher than 22.8% above Queensland State schools on averages.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
