Could you be the **Maintenance & Operations Superintendent** in Bowen Hills we’re looking for?

**Your future role**

You'll be primarily be responsible for supervising and leading a team of train mobile maintainers. They will perform planned and corrective maintenance on the QNGR fleet to the highest standards of safety and quality to ensure equipment availability to achieve the operational plan.

We’ll look to you for:

- **EHS**: Managing workplace health and safety for your team and the operation. Ensuring the HSEQ management system is consistently applied and strive for ways to continuously improve operational safety.
- **Leadership**: Coaching, mentoring and managing your team. Taking a proactive lead in developing your people and ensuring they have all the tools they need to be successful.
- **Technical**: Proactively managing maintenance activities and technical requirements. Responsible for ensuring all maintenance performed is to the highest standard.
- **Operational**:Striving to ensure the operation is running effectively and targets are achieved. Managing daily operations in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and assisting with operational planning activities.

- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within a maintenance operation.
- A background in Electrical/Electronics (Trade or Degree) is preferred but not essential.
