Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 86 Wing; 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) team staff provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ and three Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft.

**Your Role**:
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a **Aircraft Detailer/Ground Handler** to join our **Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA)** team based at **RAAF Fairbairn, Canberra**. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all contractual cleaning and detailing requirements are met or exceeded. Working closely with the Duty Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), following SPA Work Instructions, your primary responsibility will be to perform aircraft interior and exterior cleaning, lavatory and potable water servicing after each flight that ends in Canberra. Your responsibilities will also include performing scheduled aircraft exterior wash and polishing activities.

In addition this role involves a range of airport flight line duties which include aircraft receipt and dispatch activities, plus aircraft towing and ground support equipment handling.

**About You**:

- To excel in this role, previous experience in aircraft cleaning and ground handling is preferred but not essential.
- To be successful, applicants will have:

- High attention to detail and the ability to strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- A very high commitment to safety protocols and occupational health practices to ensure a safe working environment is maintained.
- Effective communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.
- Flexibility to work in variable shifts and adapt to changing work schedules is required, and
- Above all, must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe aircraft environment.
