**Overview**

The Quality Risk and Safety (QRS) coordinator is responsible for contributing to the strategies, processes and policies to ensure country people’s health needs are addressed.

The QRS Coordinator will prepare reports from system reviews, which will include trended and comparative information.

The position will require the incumbent to liaise with key stakeholders and work in collaboration with other staff to drive project work for all health unit sites, Community Health and Mental Health in the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network and:

- Contribute to the coordination, control and delivery of the functions underpinning the quality, risk and patient safety systems and service.
- Coordinate the delivery of information to Managers, analysing and reporting on non-compliances and recommending and/or initiating corrective action.
- Contribute to risk minimisation and continuous improvement in consumer service.
